About me!

Hey there! 👋🏻 I'm Yaseen Mehraf Alam, an Artificial Intelligence undergraduate at King's College London (Class of 2027). I'm fascinated by the intersection of machine learning, robotics, and full‑stack engineering and love turning ideas into products that make a measurable impact.

My Story

My coding journey began in the school library, hacking together simple Python programs between maths classes. Since then I've:

  • Led a 30-strong team to 1st place at Puzzled 2024, outperforming 250 competitors.
  • Built PCBs, a telemtry GUI and optimisation software for Hyperloop braking systems that won the global Braking System Award 2024.
  • Co-designed an NFC engagement platform used by 1,500+ visitors at KCL RocketryĘĽs launch day.
  • Secured a Marshall Wace Scholarship and placed top 2 in the AWS x Firemind JAM Hackathon.
  • Excelled in competitive trading simulations by placing 1st at Goldman Sachs and 3rd at Millennium, by deploying Python-driven equity and options strategies.

Tech Stack

I'm comfortable across the stack. Here are the tools I reach for most:
